As a Foot Health Practitioners my job is to provide preventative care, identify and treat common foot problems such as fungal infections, corns, and calluse and to manage more complex conditions such as diabetic-related foot problems.
As a Foot Health Practitioner I am qualified to work independently within the health care service by applying a range of interventions such as skin and nail care.
In addition, possessing excellent communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards their patients is a must. Being be able to listen to their patients' concerns, provide clear explanations of their diagnosis and treatment options, and be responsive to their needs. Overall, a Foot Health Practitioner is a valuable member of the community who is dedicated to improving the foot health and general well-being of their patients.
